Our principal Washington, D.C. office was founded in 1970. It started as a two attorney domestic and foreign chemical patent practice and has grown into a mid-sized, full service intellectual property practice. We handle technology from machinery to biotechnology to semiconductors and communication networks to business methods. For more information on our practice, click on our Services page.

Our Pittsburgh office is a continuation of a firm started in the 1800’s that obtained patents for George Westinghouse. Our Pittsburgh office handles domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, infringement and validity expert opinions, patent licensing, domestic trademark preparation and prosecution and domestic litigation in the areas of design patents, trademarks and copyrights. The office is able to efficiently handle our Pittsburgh area corporate clients as well as all of the firm’s patent maintenance fees.

Our Tokyo liason office is a contact and liaison office for our Asian clients, which also functions as a working space for our attorneys when they are in Japan.
